- Go to your nano root directory, ENABLE HIDDEN FOLDERS, then go to ipod_control, then go to device.
- Open IconState.plist, REMEMBER TO MAKE A BACKUP, then edit the file using any editor.
- Find the icon you want to remove, eg. <string>SBGenius</string>, then delete the whole line.
- Close all explorer windows, itunes windows, and editor windows.
- Hold down the minus volume button and lock button at the same time and as soon as it begins to reboot (screen flashes black for a moment), unplug the iPod cable from it.
- You're done!
